1. Policy Statement:

Modern slavery is a crime and a violation of fundamental human rights. 2. Scope and Standard:

We expect the same high standards from all of our contractors, suppliers, and other business partners. As part of our contracting processes, we include specific prohibitions against the use of forced, compulsory, or trafficked labour, or anyone held in slavery or servitude, whether adults or children. 1.0 Policy Statement:

Inspire Security Services Limited is committed to providing a safe and secure working environment for all our security officers, especially those working alone. We recognise the unique risks associated with lone working within the security industry and have implemented robust procedures to mitigate these risks and ensure the safety and well-being of our personnel at all times.

2.0 Procedures for Security Officers:

The following procedures must be adhered to at all times when an officer is working alone on site. These requirements must be fully in place before any guard can be left unaccompanied.

2.1 Pre-Shift Procedures:

Arrival and Debrief: All security officers will arrive on site at least 15 minutes before their shift is due to commence to receive a full, formal debrief from the guard finishing duty.

Booking On: Officers must contact the 24-hour control room to book on duty 10 minutes before the scheduled start of their shift via phone call or through roster system.

Failure to Book On: If an officer has not booked in 5 minutes before their duty commences, the control room will immediately attempt to contact them via mobile phone and initiate escalation procedures if contact is not established.

2.2 Communication and Monitoring:

24-Hour Control Room: A manned 24-hour control room is operational at all times. The control room will conduct mandatory welfare check calls with all guards every hour throughout their shift.

Emergency Contacts: A comprehensive list of all necessary emergency contact numbers, including 999 (emergency services), local police non-emergency numbers, and company management contacts, is available in the site instructions manual.

Mobile Communication: All staff are required to carry a working, company-provided or authorized mobile phone while on duty.

2.3 Equipment and Resources:

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): All staff will be provided with a full uniform and all necessary PPE as identified by the site-specific risk assessment.

First Aid: Inspire Security Services Limited ensures a fully stocked first aid kit is available on every site and within every mobile patrol unit.

2.4 Supervision and Incident Response:

Supervisory Visits: A dedicated 24-hour quick response vehicle conducts random, regular visits to all sites to check on the welfare and performance of all guards.

Incident Response: This response unit can be deployed immediately to a site by the control room if a guard fails to respond during scheduled check calls or in the event of an emergency activation.

Site Logbook: A physical or online formal occurrence logbook is maintained on site to record all coming and goings, routine check calls, and supervisory mobile visits.

2.5 Policy Updates:

Any changes made to site instructions by the client or regarding Health and Safety policy will be promptly updated, reissued, and all affected staff will be required to sign to confirm they have read and understood the new instructions.
